Squares- WALA: Addition and subtraction with numbers to 1000 alongside ltearning about time and reading/drawing clocks. Next Step: To use a range of strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems.

In swimming I am in the dolphins group. When I dive in the pool it's freezing when I get uses to the water it's relaxing. When I hop in the pool it's like a icy cold ocean. I love the feeling of the smooth water in the pool. Something I did well was doing freestyle. I am working on backstroke.

On wednesday room 6 went to the waka. In the beginning a man started talking for 15 minutes. Then we put on our lifejackets and got on the waka. We rowed all the way to the campsite and back. In the end we came back to school.

In writing we are learning to write recounts.

Something I did well was using ‘w’ details.

Something I need to work on is to finish my recount with a sentence about how I felt.
